I did this a few weeks ago for In Means Of Life, I just launched their myspace today so I thought it was appropriate to post this, great tunes too check them out here. It was really fun to create this, enjoy

I finished this CD artwork the other day, twas pretty fun to do! You may have seen their previous artwork a few pages back, well here is the sequel! Hopefully we will be doing a die cut, which should be nice.

I did this CD about a month or so ago, my first drawing on my wacom. Check out their myspace we did for them too!

We did this CD artwork a couple of months ago for blessthefall as well as their myspace. I really dig their new CD, now go get a copy, haha.

We actually didn’t do the cover, in fact I was a bit disappointed about that as I would have loved to have done a similar thing with the cover to what we did with the inside pages of the booklet.

Hi, I’m Toby and I’m an alcoholic.

HAHA, not really! But I am part of the Synapse team, working hard with Glenn and Dave! Here are a few snippets of the artwork done on the debut album we did for A LOSS FOR WORDS a little while ago. Check out their myspace, good tunes and we also did the layout!

Basically I just thought I’d get this first post out of the way so I can start to do it more regularly. Who knows it may end up being like PRINGLES, “Once you pop, you can’t stop!” but we shall wait and see, haha!

Wow, we are posting a lot of blogs lately.

I did this CD artwork for The Body Rampant almost 4-6 months ago now, but it only just got released and I got my copy in the mail today. It was only a small print run so it wasn’t the greatest print quality (see below again haha) but it was my first painting for a CD artwork so I had a lot of fun!

Also, tell me if you can see the beast?

I promised we would be adding more designs!

We do A LOT of CDs, myspaces, merch, logos etc.. But we only seem to post CDs on this blog. So, today this will change! Welcome to our first shirt pack

So for all those bands who keep asking to see some of the merch we have done, here is your first taste.

I love getting free merch, haha, especially when you have designed it! Although I can’t take too much credit for these, in fact only 2 of the shirts are my designs (Greeley Estates and Forever March) the rest are Toby’s. And we haven’t even received all of these shirts yet. I was disappointed with the Greeley Estates one, it turned out horrible. So please, if you are printing shirts or CDs make sure you use QUALITY printers!

Wow!! My first blog.

Well, for those who follow this and don’t know me, I am Dave. Toby and myself (who have run a company called Deluxe Studios for the past 3 years)  have decided to team up with Glenn to take on Synapse. The 3 of us have been doing A LOT of work lately and thought it would be only right if we were to post some of it on here. So expect to see A LOT more work from the 3 of us in the coming weeks!

Also, 2010 has some big things planned! So stay tuned and we may leak something out

Now into the work. I did this art a few months ago for an Australian band called Chemical Transport. It was a very, very, very random concept but it was a lot of fun! We did a myspace for them too, I think it turned out nice, check it out at www.myspace.com/chemicaltransport.

I have done a lot of CDs lately with blues, purples and pinks, I think they are my safety colours haha. So I hope you like them!
