We recently found out from the team at The CSS Awards that our website had been submitted and was up for judging by The CSS Awards 2010 jury.
To our delight our website has received an Honorable Mention and will be included in The CSS Awards online gallery of honorable mentions. Our site is now in the running for “Site of the Day”. We will find out the results sometime within the coming month.
We would really like to send a BIG thank you to Matt Lenz because this is his award and it truly goes to show that all his hard work was worth it.
The guys from Pledge This are about to release their latest EP “Nightlife”. It was a pretty fun project and the guys were up for anything. Hell, they were even up for making the CD a roulette wheel!

We just wrapped up Ice Nine Kills new album “Safe Is Just A Shadow”. It is a great album with some fantastic tracks! Make sure you check them out!
There were a few delays with this artwork so if you are fan you may have noticed that they have already got a ‘Warped Tour’ limited edition digital release of the album. Hopefully you have been holding out for the printed version so you can enjoy the artwork! If you haven’t not to worry, you will be able to check out the full package in our portfolio SOON!

Here’s a new Tee Shirt for Tides of Man that will be used in promotion for their new album ‘Dreamhouse’. (also available in Black)
We still have a lot of work to upload (*cough, Toby*) and that should be up over the next couple of days!
The most intense job I’ve ever had to work on is the Animated Music Video for Papa Vs Pretty. 4x90hr weeks back to back is never good, but we’re thrilled with the end result and are really looking forward to more jobs of this nature.
The houses & structures were built in Illustrator and then Textured in Photoshop. From there we took it into After Effects for animation. Some stop motion animation was also done for the Characters.

Welcome to our new site!
A lot has happened this passed year in the Synapse world. To name a few things;
• we have changed our name officially to ‘We Are Synapse’ and rebranded
• 2 of us have moved interstate to Melbourne
• we have a new office!
• we have finally (really) launched our new website
I can’t believe how long it has been but we have done a lot of work since we took our site down over a year ago. This is one of my favourite covers I did earlier this year. Make sure you check out other covers we have done here as well as the rest of our portfolio!

One of the first ‘real’ projects I ever did was the original artwork for Emarosa’s Relativity. We were on a tight deadline, and the band wanted something simple, so my talented girlfriend took some incredible macro shots of a chestnut and in one night it all came together.
We recently had the great pleasure of re-teaming with the band to work on their fantastic new self titled album . The cover is below / Artwork | Myspace
